Real stories. Real folks.
Real choice.

The Let’s Talk Access podcast is where education meets lived experience.

The Let’s Talk Access podcast is where education meets lived experience.

This isn’t theory in a vacuum — it’s the sound of people learning, reflecting, and finding ways forward in real time.

The group’s lived journey becomes the curriculum—real people learning in real time, closing the gap before therapy even begins.

Through oral storytelling as an ancient & lightweight adaptable technology, the model can travel anywhere communities need it.

Rooted in the Saskatchewan NewStart framework and evolved with nervous-system-informed facilitation, it’s designed to last and to put people first.

Stories as Curriculum

The group’s lived experience isn’t just shared — it’s the material itself.

Pre-Therapy Literacy

First of its kind: tools to navigate care before you start therapy.

Voice as Technology

We don’t need another app - we turn raw conversations into resources anyone can use.

Proven Roots

Built From Saskatchewan’s NewStart model, mentored by Heaven Bent’s TJ, & refined across cultures and systems.

Season 1 - Proof of concept

In 2021, we launched a three-part pilot to test a bold idea: what if people could map the mental health system before they entered it — and do it together? Three participants let listeners follow their real-time attempts to get care. By the end: Every participant was in therapy.

One participant and one leadership team member enrolled in their Master’s of Counselling — using the same framework from the group to get through their own program together.

A clear proof of concept emerged: the barriers aren’t only in the system. Many live in what we don’t know about ourselves, therapy, and the path to finding the right fit.

Season 1 wasn’t about scale — it was about testing the model, proving the gap exists, and showing that the framework works in real life.

Season 2 - scaling the model

Launching in October 2025 with a 16-week participant cohort and a 24-episode podcast releasing in three arcs starting May 2026.

Our structure:

Arc 1: Know Yourself, Know the System — self-reflection, value systems, therapy literacy, understanding regulation, and navigating myths vs. realities.

Arc 2: Find the Right Fit — identifying what you need, interviewing therapists, navigating bias, and building safety.

Arc 3: Now You’re In — what to expect in therapy, building the relationship, and staying the course.

Throughout, listeners hear directly from participants as they go through the process — raw moments, big realizations, and honest challenges. Expert voices provide context, while the group’s shared learning becomes part of the public record.
