Getting help shouldn’t start with guesswork.

We’re closing the mental health literacy gap before care even begins.

Let’s Talk Access is a bold new way to prepare for therapy—giving you the tools, language, and confidence to choose the right help, the first time.

The Highest Rates in Canada. The Deepest Gaps in Care.

In BC, we have the highest mental-health hospitalization rates in Canada—because no one teaches us how to find the right help. Too many people walk away from therapy not because they don’t want care, but because no one ever showed them how to navigate the system, what the different models actually do, or how to know what’s right for them.

Let’s Talk Access exists to close that pre-therapy gap. We equip people with therapy literacy, emotional mapping, consent skills, and systemic navigation tools—redistributing power from professionals back into the hands of individuals.

We know it works.

Season 1, funded by TELUS Storyhive, followed three people in real time as they tried to access care. By the end, two-thirds of our participants entered therapy for the first time, and listeners told us it was “what I wish I had before I started.”

Now we’re scaling that proof of concept into Season 2: a 12-week trauma-informed group, a 16–24-episode podcast, and a free Access Guide—building a public, evergreen model that can be adapted anywhere.

This isn’t just storytelling. It’s a literacy intervention designed to cut dropouts, reduce wasted referrals, and help people get the right help, faster.

2,253 people died of overdose in BC in 2024.

BC has the highest hospitalization rates in Canada.

Globally, 970 million people live with mental health disorders—most never receive help.

5,000,000+ Canadians lacked timely mental health care last year*

50% of Canadians wait more than 25 days for counselling

1 in 10 waits were nearly 5 months.

Canadian provinces spend only ~6% of health budgets on mental health.

(vs. 15% in France)

Season 2 recording underway.

Through storytelling we get ready to join the 16-week trauma-informed group as they learn how to navigate mental health care with confidence.

Season 1 cracked the system open. What started as three people recording their struggles became proof of a hidden gap that thousands recognized instantly.

Now, with Season 2, we’re not just documenting the problem — we’re redistributing resources, seeding a model that scales, and putting choice back in people’s hands.

This isn’t a pilot anymore. It’s the start of public infrastructure for mental health: a literacy model built from lived voices, resourced with direct funding, and designed to spread.

Designed as art, and built for education – Let’s Talk Access is a love letter for social change.

Season 1 proved the gap.

Season 2 seeds the model:
